Did you know the whole Christian Easter egg hunting thing is pagan? Well, it's true. Its practiced during Ostra.....and the whole decorating the house up using mistletoe and such during the Christmas season is also a pagan tradition.

There are not any "Christian" holidays that cannot be traced to a corresponding pagan holiday.

Most of them use symbols of fertility. Did you know that the steeple can even be linked to pagan origins??? And the tie that men wear??

Yes, I did know this. Do you know how this came about? If I am correct, I believe that the early Christians Incorporated many of the pagan traditions in an attempt to "win them over". Something like that.

Yes and Halloween is really evil and we should not let our children go trick or treat if we are true Christians. Right? Actually a great many of our customs, religious or not are pagan in origin.

Interesting...I think there may even be more than what you mentioned. As an example: I believe the celebration of the hunt is where the idea of satan may have come from...of course I may be wrong.
