As a professional dog groomer i suggest that you bring it to the groomers every other week until it's adult course hair grows in and then about once a month. If the dog developes a skin problem, as it is common in pomeranians due to not properly drying the dog, then every week would be good until it clears up. Never brush a pomeranian, comb it, every day, aslo.

You wish to have to feed your dog excellent dog food, now not ol roy company, Grooming is a significant necessity for this type (rather all breeds) of breed. If they are not brushed on a general basis they are going to get raveled and if left for too lengthy the mats will worsen and may rationale a quantity of problems. Because the mats get tighter and tighter it begins to drag on the epidermis which will purpose bruising, sores, dermis issues if air can't reach the epidermis, and also the dog can start to tug on the hair itself to take a look at and alleviation itself the ache. So exceptional factor to do is get your self a excellent slicker brush ( no longer the cute little pin brush they promote at Petsmart) and a excellent comb and brush, and comb your dog out daily. Vaccinations and dewormings are completed at your vet. Your dog will have to have 4 units of photographs by the point it is 6 months old. Mostly they may be in the back of, that you would be able to communicate to your vet on what age your puppy can be utd on them. But whilst you aspect in all of the love and companionship your puppy shall be providing you the entire price and cost is well valued at it.

As a pommie owner, I can honestly tell you that once a month should be good, unless your dog gets dirty before then. Also you can brush you pommie puppy once a day if you like, but once he's gets his adult coat in (usually around 6 months), DO NOT brush him anymore than every 3 weeks! If you brush him more than that you can damage his undercoat, which will ruin his beautiful double coat, and could also cause severe skin problems. Hope I was able to help you and good luck with your cute furry bundle of joy!

Only when it is dirty, Batheing a dog to much will dry its skin out and cause itchy and flaky skin and discomfort for the dog. Dogs dont need baths unless they are dirty!

Once a month will do it unless it gets into something stinky. You should brush it every day to keep the coat shiny and mat free.

I have 4, and I only bathe them when its needed.
Stinky, extremely dirty, dirty butt... etc..
The only other time is when they come out of heat.
Bathing a dog too often can cause problems.
Since my dogs are freefed & doggiedoor & indoor dogs, it makes sense..
