And go back to smoking cigarettes? I'm not the same as I use to be since I quit..a year ago. Everyone thinks I look pissed off all the time..and I think it's because I always think about smoking/and other bad things. I wish I wasn't like this though. people have told me that i have this ora about me..in which I seem angry. I don't like that. What should I do guys?

Well, if you stay off cigarettes you will live to tell about how your friends thought you should start smoking again, because misery loves company. Couple things, maybe you are scowling in which case it is either you really are upset, or light bothers your eyes or maybe you need your eyes checked. Either way, keep moving forward because cigarettes are simply a habit at this point, something to do because you already got the nicotine out of your bod. Don't go backward and poison yourself all over again if you already got through the bad part, fill your time with something else or if you have that much time to think about smoking (and other bad things) well, offer to help out maybe an older person who can't get out and take care of their yard or shop or something to add to someone else's life, because when you get lost in helping someone else, you lose track of your own problem.

Guess since you have given up smoking, you are stuck in a withdrawal stage and this is causing you to feel depressed. Odds are you quit abruptly too and didn't let it go in phases. What you need to do now is try seeing a doctor about some kind of anti-depressant. To aid in this, you might need to maybe go back on the patch or some aid used in quiting smoking. Also try to find activities that will take your mind off it like maybe if you have a family, try doing more activities with them. You must keep telling yourself about all the positives of quitting and realize how healthier you are now. These positives will eventually help you uplift your self- esteem and in turn you will start showing your positive self. I understand what you are going thru myself as I quit drinking and smoking in January of this year. It was real hard but I did it and yes, in the beginning I felt so bad so many times inside but once I was able to get over that hump and think positive about what I had done, I started being myself again. Now people ask me at times if I had been drinking or smoking cause I act like it.

Congratulations first off on quitting smoking! You need to put yourself first and by quitting smoking you have. Hey, you quit for a reason and lets not forget those reasons, ok? I doubt that you are angry all the time and even though it's none of their business, tell them! People are going to judge others and they always think they know best. You are the only one who knows whats best for you. Maybe try to smile a bit more . Give your self alot of credit for quitting smoking and try not to let the others around you influence you . Live for yourself not for others.

Yeah it's going to take longer than a year to completely get over your habit, then you'll become who you really are and you'll look less angry too, because you'll be happy that you gave it up.
