I think it is bad to be whipped. A relationship should be something where things are mutual and fair. Being whipped by a bf/gf is terrible because that isnt really what couples do and it always ends up bad. If you are whipped, you wont be able to function without the other person and you wil constantly be fighting with the person, and you will always be reporting 24/7 on where you are who you are with. You will do things for the bf/gf. That does not sound like an ideal relationship.. if you are being whipped u should consider ur relationship again.. if u have a friend whos being whipped you should tell her/him about it.

I agree with your 1st responder as long as you are staying yourself and trying to be someone you're not then no go ahead be whipped! My Fiance was whipped and I'm still f***ing whipped. I'll go out to the club and if he calls and says hey I'm feeling horny I'm running to my car to get home and get some. Just don't let her know or get the hint that you are, because sometimes we(women) can be a bit manipulative and not know we're doing it!

Only if it's negatively affecting you or someone else. My dad's whipped and it's affected the way me and my brothers were brought up in a negative way.
But my girlfriend has me pretty much whipped and there's nothing wrong with it. She actually does good things for me, not bad.

Yeah, it's bad. The word basically implies that they own you. No matter how great they think it is now, down the road they will have no respect for you at all....but they'll keep you around, because why bother with all that work when you can get someone else to do it for free?
