she won't go to hell. I think she had a greater chance of going to hell when she was a Muslim than she has now as a Buddhist.

perhaps she never understood what being Muslim meant. Many people are Muslim in name only, never practicing or having pondered why. She is now going thru that process and may come up with a different conclusion. She's free to choose. The religions have similar beliefs in terms of being kind to others and non-violent, only Islam now has a bad rep in the ignorant parts of the western world.Perhaps she feels this religion is "close enough" to Islam for her purposes and it has a better PR image right now so she can be un noticed. Not everyone chooses their religion for purposes of worship, some choose it for social and status reasons, so if she were ina predominately Muslim culture where that was dominate and accepted, she might go w/Islam instead. So actions will be judged by intentions, humans don't really know what's happenning behind the scenes. May God guide us all to a path that doesn't lead to destructiona nd despair.

Every person will be judged in the end by their actions during their life on earth. Every person is and can only be responsible for their own path. No person can walk another persons path. Nobody can force a person to walk the true path and all must choose for themselves. Only God is qualified to judge all peoples actions.

This is what Muslims believe.

open your mind. honey. Don't listen to that kind of talk, even if it is your relatives. This entire planet suffers from "hand-me-down religion. See, your conscience is telling you this is a nice person. You are right ! So what if she converted ? Too bad more people don't start questioning.
