Don't take any chances. Take him to the vet's immediately. I had a dog and cat that were poisoned and they curled up in a corner, shivering and vomited. We were able to save the dog, but the kitten died. Someone in the neighborhood was poisoning pets. Sick people.

Your dog needs to go to the vet right now. If it is vomiting, diarreah, having siezures, foaming at the mouth - these are really dangerous symptoms. We thought our dog had been poisoned & it turned out he had a brain tumour so you really want to get to someone who can make sure as to what's going on & how to best treat it.

If you think that there is the slightest chance that your dog has been poisoned, then every second counts. If you have an emergency vet clinic, go there NOW. If you don't, call your vet immediately.

If you suspect your dog has been poisoned, get it to the vet straight away, it wont get better itself. Rat bait is probably the most common of poisoning and if the dog is jumpy, salivating (drooling) or showing any other odd signs, chances are it has eaten some bait. Please go to your vet

If you cannot get it to a vet, and vomiting has not incurred, you can induce vomiting by giving the dog a few tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. This worked when my dogs drank antifreeze.

once my lab ate rat poison and she was like coughing and we thought she had something in her throat. She also had a lot of saliva. We took her to the vet they told us she wouldn't have made it through the night. Take her to the vet as soon as possible.!!

well, the most sure-fire, no-joke, 99.99999999999%accurate way is to go to the vet. but if u cant make it ther, if pooch is vomiting or leaving 'diareah presents' evrywhere, or hacking a lot, its a possibility that poochie could have been poisoned. anything can poison a dog. makeup, perscription drugs, toys, paint, rat traps, even some plants. so PLEASE GET THET DOG TO A VET!!!!!! PLEASE??? 4 ME? :-)
i hope your dog will be okay!!! good luck and god speed!!

Get off the computer and take him to a vet. If they are closed I hope your city has a emergency animal hospital.
