View the picture on the camera monitor. Look for a button with a garbage can on it and push it. You will have to confirm the delete somehow - usually by pushing the same button again - but they will prompt you for the confirmation.

Just choose the picture you wand and press delete button. Or you can press 'delete all' for deleting all the pictures in your camera.

If for any doubt you can check the user manual or check on the internet with the camera model number.

depending on the camera, there really should be a delete or trash or something button or in the main menu...what kind of camera??
