To be more specific, have you given moeny into a ministry, like TBN, and been blessed with some material blessing.
I know we are not to give to get, but am just curious.

If you give to the work of God in order to receive a blessing, your motivation for giving is wrong.

what is giving to the work of god ? how do you know for sure that the money or thing of value does not fall into the wrong hands with so many predators out there? an investigative report should be conducted before giving anything.because the inclination of the heart is the best blessing you can receive towards the doing of his will , life as it is can help you decide these answers .that is a blessing by itself and you my friend is indeed blessed with life

Yep.
Years ago due to hard times I was literally down to my last 2 dollars. Was Xmas time so while at church I put my last 2 bucks in the collection plate.
1 week after Xmas I was rewarded with a $2000 contract for work out of no where.
Give till it hurts and he will ensure you make it.
Another good example would be one bad winter lost control of an SUV with my grandmother on board. While the truck was in the process of going over, as in rolling over, I didn't care about myself, only worried about my grandmother during it all. Then poof, we were straight and going again as if nothing happened. I was rewarded for not being selfish and for thinking of another during a crisis.
I use to be a non believer as a kid but he has proven to me too many times that he exists. Only God can break the laws of physics, gravity, motion, etc.

Explain this one...
I felt that God was leading me to put $50 in the offering plate. I did not have that amount of money without making some major sacrifices financially (including bill money). I put a check in at church for $50. Our church then had greeting time and when I got back to my seat, there was a check sitting at the top of my purse for $100. No one knew how much I needed and it paid off a bill. All because I was obedient to God's call.

I have given my tithes to the church and the Lord has blessed me richly, even though I am close to broke.

yes i have, i spread the word and now i am wicked happy and content to just keep spreading it... he has also blessed me with a place to live and food to eat and clothes to wear and a wonderful church to go to... i have been blessed for spreading the good news
