Someone called me from a number with all 9's. Has this happened to anyone before?

When I called it back, it said the number was not a number.

yes, someone is playing with you...I can do that too..its called CallerID spoofing...when I call someone from the yahoo SIP phone all 777's show up...when I use the mindspring SIP phone all 9's show up...

Yes that happened to me and it was one of those telemarketer calling trying to get me to give my info over the phone.

that's an easy trick to perform. you can also modify the caller id. field to anything you want as well.
