At this point I'd talk to a doctor. Four days seems like a long time for just a headache going on. Maybe try a heating pad to help relax the muscles in your neck and shoulders.

Were you in an auto accident? Sounds like whiplash.

I have had the same thing for quite some time too. I am buddist so i meditated and massage the pressure point as well as but a cold compress on my head and a warming effect on my neck. Each day i did this i started feeling better and today i am almost without it.
Try it but if i doesn't work i would probably see the doctor make sure it is that persistent migrane problem and then you have to take a prescription.

Being that you said you had this headache for 4 days straight, I would immediately say migraine. How much panadol (tylenol) did you take? After reading all your other symptoms this doesnt appear to be a normal migraine. Sounds like this can be a viral infection. If you had a fever, I would normally tell you to take sodium naproxen (aleive) but with all the other symptoms going on, it's best that you see your physician to find out what is in your system.

I take 3-4 Excedrin pills, along with two store brand sinus/ headache pills. It usually takes the edge off. If that doesn't work i go to the emergency room at our hospital and they put an I.V. in with a combination of pain meds. Thirdly if that doesn't work my doctor prescribes me some prednisone, it doesn't help the headache much but takes the ache out of the face and neck.

If you get them often may I make a suggestion? Inderal LA taken every day will prevent them. It's a great drug and works well to prevent headaches.

Dude, this sounds like what is commonly known as a warning sign. Have you ever heard the phrase, "...if caught in time,"? I know you may be afraid, maybe you don't have insurance, maybe you're afraid that the physicians won't believe you. But whatever your reason please seek help soon.

Sounds like it could be a virus going on in your body. A doctor check would be in order.
