I am graduating early, no gf, which is much better, and wanting to join the us coast guard, no i did not see the movie the guardian yet, im pissed about it, but oh well... they saved 33k+ in huricane katrina, o by the way i bet i can find 100 mistakes in the movie the guardian huh? they dont jump outa heli, and they wont risk recuin smone with 150ft swells thank you, jump out heli? no lowered! \
ok any ways do you guys have respect for them?

they are the best military branch. they also dont allow anyone to kick their ***. seriously look at how many army and marines die and how little coasties die. if you are strong both physically and mentally then join the coast guard. if you don't think you have what it takes then join another branch

yes I have a lot of respect 4 them maby it 's because i am in ROTC but after Katrina i was super glade to know that we have a coast guard because i think they were the only ones trying their best and did the best 2 help cuz as much as i respect the marines i have 2 call it how i c it and how it is marines didn't show up till afterward and it was only b cause the gang rates went up in Texas but they were no were 2 be seen helping when Katrina had any ways i think u should go to coast guard it makes many ppl happy 2 know someones making a difference with their lives helping others that's why i am going into the navy 4 natural disasters
