i cannot believe some of the pet questions on here are from people off this planet.NEVER purchase a pet before you research it.my little bird wants to play trick or treat(give me F strenght),my bird poops in his water(F move it),my snake won't eat female dogs(F idiot),i want a nest(F me),my seedeater won't eat chicken curry(F try chinese)god give me strenght and pray for the idiotic questionares.and forgive me for my F language,F idiots.

Barrie, I couldn't agree more mate. I blame the parents and the education system for letting these moron's slip through the net undetected. Then again maybe they were detected but the job would have been far too great.
I think these idiots choose pets as they are more likely to have an IQ nearer their own i.e somewhere in the region of 1 - 5. They think pets are easier than reading books for example but don't realise that an everyday rodent like a hamster is only marginally more intelligent than themselves but is unable to open a bank account in order to go to the local Tesco and buy food for itself. Therefor it has to depend on the idiot to feed it. This is where the problems arrive, hamsters and vindaloo don't mix well.

I totally agree with you, some of the questions are just too dumb to answer
but i really get tired of seeing all the what should I name my new pet or how can i tell what sex my pet is
i've never gotten a new pet that i didn't buy a book about it first because i want to do everything right and i want the best for my pet

Because the idiots are taking over. The one about what age does a kitten lose it's baby teeth - the asker wasn't the one with the problem because they were obviously expecting it sometime but 2 people responded before I did saying that cats don't have baby teeth! Umm...hello! *shakes head* The other one that really got me was that someone had thought their dog had eaten the cat because they could hear meowing coming from the dog, on the couch. Turns out pusscat was in the couch...

I try to answer the dumb ones as quick as I can because if someone don't they just might boil the dog to kill the fleas.
If you think some of these questions are stupid... Most guys have pee'ed on an electric fence at some time in their lifes. And everything has a warning label on it because some one will eat mothballs if it did not say not to put them in your mouth or eyes. Just lets you know someone had done it or it would not be on the label. lol .

kinda sounds like you're having a bad day. yes, the questions are stupid sometimes and the answers even worse. it appears for the most part that this has become a chat room for the young and inept. if you are offended in anyway, it can be reported. mostly, I think there is alot to be said about the "quality" (or lack) of both Q&A's.

WOW!!!! my daughter and I are sooo on the same page as you... why aren't people checked out just like adopting a human child prior to pet ownership?? its sooo sad that pets are kinda throw away type projects for alot of people... and they are sooo stupid!! people should really researc the pet they are going to adopt/buy way before they get one!!! alot of people should be put in the same situation that they have put their pet in and mabey, just mabey they would respect animals ALOT more...Smile

Worse than the stupid questions are the stupid answers. At least people asking stupid questions are somewhat aware of their ignorance and are trying to correct it. People replying that you should Febreeze your budgie to cut down its smell, that's ignorant AND pigheaded, not the mention lethal.
