She's still trying to nurse...she might of been taken from the mother too early.
Don't let her continue it as it will just re-enforce the act.

The "massage" she's giving you is called kneading. Lots of people have their own terms for it. I've heard "making bread", "making biscuits", and my husband's family calls it "prancing". Kittens do this against their mother's belly to help get milk from the nipple. The licking she's doing ties right in with that. Don't be surprised if she starts sucking on your neck or earlobe. Adult cats knead, as well...usually because it's comforting to them. Much like an adult human who never grew out of sucking their thumb.
And I don't know what in the hell Fragle's been smokin', but cats are not naturally pack animals. Some ferals can live in communities, but they are still lone hunters. His advice not only had nothing to do with what you were asking....but was also a bit confusing.

That is a good thing!!!!
Licking a purring is a natural thing cats do to strengthen the bonds within the pack. consider it a good thing as she accepts you as one of her own

She just loves you. Im sure you love her as much. Thats how cats show affection. My cats purr and lick my face. I love kittens. I wish I could be rich enough to have my own farm of cats. LOL

she does that because that is what she did to her mother, sisters and brothers for love.she digs her nails into you(also know as needing)because that is how she got her milk from her mother.some cats do it until they die reason being that they were takin too soon from there mother.some cats grow out of it and some don't.look at it in a good way, she's claiming you as her mother.

Most cats do this when they are confortable. the messaging is a instinctive reaction that comes from their nursing as a babe days. You should feel very loved.

I have 9 cats, and most of them do this. I believe it is a comfort and affection gesture. Even my adult cats do this regularly.

She's your baby and you are her mom. She loves you and is trying to tell you that. You should be happy that she is trying to show you love. Animals are the bestfriends we wish we all had.
