Why do you want to cure it? Being homesick is a good sign.

Call home, write letters, email, and tell them what's going on where you are. Make sure you have safe and positive relationships where you are, and enjoy being able to be homesick...many folks who don't live at home are darn glad they are gone.

I don't think that anything can cure homesickness. Except for going home. And that probably wouldn't be a quick fix.

Either go home or do something that is entirely unconnected to thinking about home.

Go dancing, go to a coffee shop, go somewhere where you can talk to people about anything other than your homesickness.

Getting active where-ever you are now.

I went away to boarding school at age 11yo & was away from home & family for 2 months at a time. It WAS a bit of an issue at first - but it all got better, once I got a life at school.
