It's great you tried to include all of that info in your question. Cosmetologists like myself use all of those attributes to determine the proper kind of color that would look the best on you. Unfortunately, without actually seeing what you look like, it's kinda hard to tell you the exact color of blonde you should so with. From what I can tell that you have told me, blonde would probably work well with you. Don't be afraid... a lot of women get a bit scared if they are going with a completly different color than what they have, especially if it's going to be all one color. Don't be scared! Whatever you do to it, you can always get it fixed. I would personally go to a salon first and tell them what you want so they can pick out the best color for your skin tone and features. We know best, trust me. Have them do it the first time. It will make you feel better. They will give you the formula for what they did there, so if you like it, you can do it at home on your own. I personally am a 6G ( six meaning the color of my hair and G meaning it has a hue of gold to it), but I dye my hair to a 9N ( that's a light nautral blonde). They will tell you your formula. All you have to do is ask. Anyway, if you would like to do this at home and would feel more comfortable asking a pro, feel free to e-mail or IM me and I will be happy to help as much as possible. Good Luck and Happy Hair Dyeing!!!

Blonde hair sounds like it would be fine with your coloring (after all you were born with it). What you have to consider is the upkeep. It will be condiserably more labor intensive than highlights. At minimum, you'll want touch ups every 2 weeks to cover your roots. That's also quite expensive (unless you're skilled enough to do it yourself). If you can deal with the upkeep and the cost, go for it. Also, invest in a good deep conditioner (Redken All Soft and Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask are good ones) to keep your hair soft and shiny. Also keep your ends trimmed up to avoid split or damaged ends.

You could go all blonde just make sure it is the right shade. Go to a professional and just have them keep adding more blonde highlights each time you go in. Before you know it, your hair will be blonde and it won't be overwhelming since it will be a little at a time. You and others will get a chance to get to it this way.

I have/had blonde hair and blue eyes also. I have died my hair so many times, I am not sure on the color. Most likely a diry blonde like you, same skin color... well maybe lighter. Anyhow, when I want to make my hair lighter, I use Sun In. It works great, and I can make it lighter by reapplying it after my hair dries. Everyone says it looks better when it's light blonde.
Hope that helps...

If your colour is fading out that rapid, you're in most cases utilising a semi everlasting colour or demi everlasting colour. You can check out what's known as Permanent colour, which wont fade however will develop out together with your hair, so each four-eight weeks youd simply must get a retouch. I reccommend going to a salon and having it performed reputable as an alternative than shopping retailer purchased colour. Also, I could shy clear of utterly black, as soon as it everlasting black its very rough to get every other colour, adding brown. Hope this is helping!

I kept my hair blonde for 14 yrs. It was a major hassel! If you don't keep up w/ it, it looks like hell! I am now my natural color..I feel I have been set free!
