After 3 hours of talking on the phone, I told a guy I really liked that I just recently I got out of a relationship and I need some time to figure out how I contributed to what went wrong so I won't repeat the same mistakes. I told him I wasn't ready for a relationship. After I realized he probably thought I meant I didn't like him, so I called him and told him he was tall, dark and handsome, the kind of guy I usually fall for and find very attractive. Before we got off the phone, he told me he cared about me.
He hasn't called since then and I miss him. I didn't realize how much I looked forward to his phone calls. I still want him but honestly don't want him to be a rebound relationship and I know guys hate it when a girl says I want to be friends. Should I leave him alone?

be honest. Tell him how you really feel. It's better than wasting time worrying about it, and do it before someone else thinks he's tall, dark and handsome !

Are you sure you really like this guy enough to become involved with him or are you feeling so lonely that you just want someone special in your life right now? Give yourself a little time to be alone and sort things out because it sounds like your emotions are in a state of confusion. You also seem to be sending this new person a mixed message, so of course you haven't heard from him. How can he know what you really want when you don't know yourself? If he cares for you, he will wait until you are ready to begin a relationship with him. If he doesn't have the patience to wait then obviously his feelings aren't as real as you thought. Wait! You'll be glad you did.

Stay his friend build a true foundation on trust and understanding and when your ready it will fall into place.. Keep it real in all things.. no time for games.. your heart has to heal first before you can even move forward.

Keep calling... let him know that you care for him and hope to date him in the future... at the moment you need some time to learn from your mistakes and figure out what you want and need from another.

you should call him. He stopped calling you cause thats what he thought you wanted. You are sending him mixed up signals.
