This message is based on a philosophy that requires people to abandon their intuitive defenses against anxiety. Giving up on your intuition is difficult. Non-violence works, but it goes counter to the intuitive urge to control. Only after gaining some insight with failure to control is it possible to open the mind to other possibilities.

Actually it did in some areas of the world. Some of the most violent areas of the world were completely transformed into peace using Buddhism.

The problem is that these peaceful areas have often been attacked by other groups and religions.

Since they're antiwar, they never conquered any territories or forced anyone into their beliefs. It's spreading rapidly in Asia right now.

because christianity and islam spread too fast and we all know those religions run on violence and terror.
