the pens are all inside each other the inner most pen would have 3 pigs the 2nd pen would have 2 pigs in it plus the 3 from the first pen equalling 5. the 3rd pen would have 2 plus the 5 from the other pens equalling 7 and the 4th pen would have 2 in it plus the other 7 equalling 9. ha ha.

Construct three pens enclosed by a larger fourth pen. The smaller pens contain 3 pigs and the larger pen contains 9 pigs.

Pen no. 1 Must have 3 sows + 1 sherriff deputy,, and the other should have 3 BOARS and 1 city cop and 1 state trooper in it...
3+1=4 then 3+1+1=5 NOW 5+4= 9 Ta Daaa!!!
