Focusing on a higher power of our own invention is frequently another way of finding a way to be self-righteous. We're worshiping ourselves.

If someone can genuinely focus on someone else's needs, then and only then are the displaying spiritual maturity.

Human is, as human does!!

There are times we profess, to love the Lord.
Our actions show differently, when we turn away from a friend or neighbour, who is in need.........all to human, I'm afraid!!

We still have to pray everyday, for strengh and guidance, to become "merciful" and "kind", in God's sight.

Because so many of us are self-centered and busy that we do not care to take the time (it is not important enough to us) to exercise a brotherly phileo or higher love.
