Hey Duckphup, Long letter-no evidence...what's that all about...you're clearly smart enough to know the difference between opinionated accusations and EVIDENCE.

Hey Poetic, Gary, Gail and Kentucky Mom thanks for your polite responses and I must say that there's a point or two that I'm not sure that I agree with Pastor Hagee, but nothing that stands in the wat of appreciating his work. God Bless

Ok YoYoMama and Binx First let's see that we agree that the Jews are God's chosen people. For whatever reason HE WANTS HE CAN DO ANYTHING and it does not require the prior approval of YoYoMaMa and Binx...Take your time if you need to, but like it or not the Jews are God's chosen people. And knowing that, whose to say that since He gave them this 'special' designation that He didn't also give them 'special' rules, prvileges, guidelines, etc. etc. I'll think about what you've said, but you address this issue as well.

YoYoMaMa, "banging church secretaries"?, and Christians forgiving whether there is repentance or not? What have you done? Hurling accusations degrading the character of people ( and offering no proof I might add), and questioning whether repentance was made or not!! HOW would YOU know? Do I know the penance of my brother? Oh yeah, the other thing, Benny Hinn. I never said anything about him, nor did my question even include his name. I do not subscribe to his notions in the first place! But, anyway, I think you might want to remove some of that emotion in your view and maybe you'll see a much clearer picture. And I will listen and pay attention to anything that can be authenticated. Remember I did not ask this question to be a great defender of John Hagee, but I won't watch a man be attacked with words and not proof. And neither you nor I are THE JUDGE.

This is an opinion. Of course I would not vote a thumbs down to anyone with differing opinion on this subject, because this is an opinionated question. In all fairness I will refrain from issuing a thumbs down vote to a decent oposing opinion on this topic, however thumbs up may be considered. (A thumbs down may be given to a person slandering others.)

He does scream a bit, but I've not found anything he has said to be innacurate from the Holy Bible from which he preaches. I found no contradictions in his teaching from the Bible.

John Hagee is pationate about his belief in the Holy Bible. He speaks the word as it is written, backs every topic with the facts he has found in the word of God, it is an inspiration to have found a man pationate and thorough. Because of that I have enjoyed his preaching.

yeah, I watched John Hagee for a long time.. the only problem I have with him is that he thinks that only gentiles have to repent and be saved to get into heaven (like the Bible teaches) yet for Jewish people, they are saved without believing in Jesus.
I can't find anything in the Bible that supports that notion.

Edit: don't get me wrong, I do believe that the Jews are/was God's chosen people and I love Israel. but the Bible also says that "the first shall be last and the last shall be first" meaning that the Jews were first in line (so to speak) and declined to believe that Jesus was the son of God, and the gentiles who were to be last.. did accept Jesus. although the Bible talks about them being the apple of God's eye, I think those who accept his son took that place. this doesn't mean that they are any less special, but that we all have the same rank when it comes to the kingdom of heaven and for EVERYONE there is only one way to enter.. and that is salvation through his Son, Jesus. I think we all are his chosen people now, those who are willing to accept his plan of salvation.. there are no person that is exempt from having to go through the same channels to obtain citizenship of heaven. Jews and Gentiles.. it doesn't matter as much as what we believe.

John Hagee claims to know Christ but he does not preach the truth!
I do not put my hope in a man especially one who is so far off base!
Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved! Stop believing in men! Join a church that teaches the truth! Read the Bible for yourself! Pray to God He is waiting to hear from you!

Hagee is one of the criminal, traitorous ringleaders of the fundamentalist Dominionist movement, seeking to overthrow the Constitution and transform the US into a theocracy. Christian 'Dominionists' (Reconstructionalists, Theonomists) have largely usurped the local level political apparatus of the Republican Party, and are engaged in a sub rosa process to politically motivate moderate Christians under the false cover of religious issues such as morality and family values, under cover of front organizations like the Christian Coalition, the American Family Association and the Promise Keepers. The goal is nothing less than the takeover of all elective offices in the USA.

Their doctrine comes from the Bible, starting with the term 'dominion' at Genesis 1:28... “And God said unto them, [Adam and Eve] Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have DOMINION… over every living thing.” They interpret DOMINION as: “... a supremacy in determining and directing the actions of others or in governing politically, socially, or personally.”

They want to remake the USA as a theocracy... and they are succeeding.

Its most common form, Dominionism, represents one of the most extreme forms of Fundamentalist Christianity thought. Its followers, called Dominionists, are attempting to convert the laws of United States so that they match those of the Hebrew Scriptures. They intend to achieve this by using the freedom of religion in the US to train a generation of children via home-schooling and in private Christian religious schools. See: JESUS CAMP http://www.apple.com/trailers/magnolia/jesuscamp/trailer/ Later, their graduates will be charged with the responsibility of creating a new Bible-based political, religious and social order. One of the first tasks of this order will be to eliminate religious choice and freedom. Their eventual goal is to achieve the "Kingdom of God" in which much of the world is converted to Christianity. They feel that the power of God's word will bring about this conversion. No armed force or insurrection will be needed; in fact, they believe that there will be little opposition to their plan. People will willingly accept it. All that needs to be done is to properly explain it to them.

All religious organizations, congregations etc. other than strictly Fundamentalist Christianity would be suppressed. Nonconforming Evangelical, main line and liberal Christian religious institutions would no longer be allowed to hold services, organize, proselytize, etc. Society would revert to the laws and punishments of the Hebrew Scriptures. Any person who advocated or practiced other religious beliefs outside of their home would be tried for idolatry and executed. Blasphemy, adultery and homosexual behavior would be criminalized; those found guilty would also be executed. There are two conservative Christian pastors in Texas who have advocated the execution of all Wiccans. Ralph Reed, the executive director of the conservative public policy group the Christian Coalition has criticized Reconstructionism as "an authoritarian ideology that threatens the most basic civil liberties of a free and democratic society."

By failing to openly confront this insidious agenda, we have sown the seeds of our own destruction, while these religious wing-nuts are paving the way to Armageddon with gleeful anticipation.

Who in gods name is John Hagee and who is he when he's at home?

He yells alot, but at least he's preaching Jesus Chrsit and him crucified.

However, he has a unscriptural view of end times like many preachers....that of believing there will be a rapture 7 years (or 3.5 yrs.) BEFORE Christ returns in glory (when Scripture teaches it happens simultaneous with Christ's return and the ressurrection of the dead).

Can't stand him. He's negative, imflammatory, and a bigot.
Edited to add:
I have no facts, just my opinion. I watched him only once and was repulsed by his antics (yelling, red in the face, panting like animal). If his methods appeal to you, great. He makes my skin crawl.

Fine. The two covenants doctrine he teaches is Christian Zionist heresy by any historic Christian standard. Christian doctrine from the beginning is there is no salvation except through Christ and the Old Covenant is gone. Jews now must be saved through Jesus Christ, period.

Hagee's doctrine, first taught by Franz Rosenzweig earlier last century, that there are two separate but equal covenants or ways to God is rejected by the New Testament which asserts the gospel of Jesus Christ is for all people. The apostle Paul summarized this in his letter to the Romans: “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile” (Rom. 1:16). Paul states: “I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, those of my own race, the people of Israel...Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved” (Rom. 9:2–4; 10:1).

Quotes By John Hagee, one of the best known promoters of the ‘Two Covenant’ Doctrine’

(“San Antonio fundamentalist battles anti-Semitism,” Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec. 6, pg. 1. PFO Article, "The Other Gospel Of John Hagee")

"I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption."

"John Hagee, fundamentalist pastor from San Antonio and friend of Israel, is truly a strange fish...The man has a mission. He’s out to attack anti-Semitism. He also believes that Jews can come to God without going through Jesus Christ."

"I’m not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith."

In fact, trying to convert Jews is a ‘waste of time,’ he said. ‘The Jewish person who has his roots in Judaism is not going to convert to Christianity. There is no form of Christian evangelism that has failed so miserably as evangelizing the Jewish people. They (already) have a faith structure.’ Everyone else, whether Buddhist or Baha’i, needs to believe in Jesus, he says. But not Jews. Jews already have a covenant with God that has never been replaced by Christianity, he says."

“The Jewish people have a relationship to God through the law of God as given through Moses,” Hagee said. “I believe that every Gentile person can only come to God through the cross of Christ. I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption. “The law of Moses is sufficient enough to bring a person into the knowledge of God until God gives him a greater revelation. And God has not,” said Hagee.

"The Jews were not rejecting Jesus as Messiah, it was Jesus who was refusing to be the Messiah to the Jews!" (John Hagee, Should Christians Support Israel? pg 67-68. PFO Article, "The Other Gospel Of John Hagee")

"There are Jewish people who have relationship with God right now according to the election of grace. (Romans 11:5) ... The Jewish people are judicially blinded to the identity of Messiah... Question: If God blinded the Jewish people to the identity of Jesus as Messiah, how could He send them to hell for not seeing what he had forbidden them to see? ... Inasmuch as God has blinded them to the identity of Messiah, targeting the Jewish people for mass evangelism is fruitless." (John Hagee letter (on Cornerstone Church letterhead) to Erwin M. de Castro of the Christian Research Institute, October 18, 1994, pg. 5, copy on file.

Now I understand TV evangelists always get a free pass for banging the church secretary, so I guess I'm not surprised an adulterer who unbiblically divorced his wife, as so many of these guys have, gets a free pass with so many Christians who forgive whether there is repentance or not it seems, but I am surprised that so many embrace heresies like Hagee's two covenant doctrine and Benny Hinn's 9 person godhead. I don't see why you bother to claim you're a Christian when you reject the central teaching of the faith, that salvation is through Christ alone, to have your ears tickled by a man that preaches doomsday to empty your wallets.
