is already buried there. (a wife or child)

contact them and ask. In the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in houston ... your spouse can be buried in the same grave as you, but in different vaults. I do not know about a child.

The first 2 are correct...BUT the very first requirement is that the person to be buried must also be DEAD !!
