I just ran into this guy, who actually claimed all of this, and i take it he just used some psychology to read me and my kids, because he was right about a few things, accept the fact that i was a dancer for a king in a past life.

Your questioning the ability of someone who believes that God is simultaneously three and one entities, and that he is at once all-loving but required the blood sacrifice of his son/self to atone for the sins he knew humanity would commit when he created them... to also incorporate other contradictory items into his belief system?

Logical reasoning and comparison play no part in belief.

There are different branches of Christianity. There are some more open-minded Christians who can't deny certain sciences that are factual and documented, especially when things like psychic abilities are happening to them. They believe they are gifts from God instead of evil distractions. (Sylvia Browne is a good example-she too is Christian...gnostic I believe) And why not? It's everywhere. The other side of Christianity frowns upon things like that. Very closeminded and not accepting of anything else, even if it's right in front of their eyes.
I've had precognitive dreams as long as I could remember and my Mother has too. The church said it was just coincidence or an evil prescence I needed to get rid of by prayer and such. There was nothing evil about these dreams. (or me) God has given me this for a reason and it took a long time to figure out. I am not evil and could never be. But for someone to tell me that I am, without even knowing me, because I believe differently, is truly wrong.

I used to be christian. However, with Ian Stevenson's amazing evidence and Michael Newtons outstanding findings through hypnosis, reincarnation is a fact to me. It is also the most logical. Dr Weiss also had a brilliant discovery when dealing with a patient with massive phobias and anxieties. To me, personally, reincarnation is logical, it makes sense, there is far more evidence for it than any other belief and its real. The reason why we incarnate is to experience every emotion and situation earth life can give us. We cannot experience this in spiritual form because the only emotion there is love. We may complete our work on earth and start incarnation on other worlds. Also, the bible DID used to teach reincarnation many, many years ago. This was eventually taken out becuase they always tend to change the bible to 'suit the audience'.

I've had a friend or two who were christian witches... it is possible, but its a extremely difficult, precarious balance of religious and spiritual beliefs.

Christians CAN be psychic, and do those things...

until the Council of Nicea, Christianity supported the idea of reincarnation(past lives)

Psychic abilitys are given by God, they are natural gifts of perception fundamentally no different from sight or hearing, they are simply non-organic.

oh yeah, if you don't belive in past lives what makes you so sure they were not right on that?

Well, Christians do many inconsistent things I am sure you'll agree. At least this person is a small time con artist. He could have been a televangelist.

You cannot believe in these other things and be a Christian, the Bible is plain on that.

You can't be Christian and deal in the occult. He want his cake and eat it too. He's only fooling himself. But he still needs to be enlightened by someone.....maybe you are the one!
