Urine Off. It removes both stain, odor, and the urine itself! It is used in nursing homes and animal shelters. It is a little pricey but worth it. Do a search on "Urine Off" and you should find the site.

White vinegar with warm water ...to find the urine use a black fluorescent light.
An alternative method is to mix the solution in a bucket and dip a clean cloth into the liquid. Rub the stain with the vinegar solution. After the vinegar dries, wipe away both solution and stain with warm water.

Nature's Miracle is a product you can get from petco or wherever, works really well.
Also, I work at a dry cleaner's and we use hunter's soap to get cat pee smell out of things. You can get it at bass pro/cabela's or even at wal-mart. They make several sprays as well as laundry soap and other items. The idea is that they neutralize bacteria that causes humans to have smell, and it's the only thing that gets cat urine smell out of comforters and clothes as far as I can tell.

take the cat to the local chinese resteraunt. This time of year they are paying top dollar for cat. They have to replenish their stock for winter. take the money you earned from the cat and replace your cat urined carpet with new stuff... and do not get another cat. I repeat, do not get another cat.

The best thing i have used is a mix of 50% wanter and 50% all natural pine oil. It cleans great, gets rid of the smell, disinfects, and is safe for your animals!!

Try folex, get it at Target, not the market, at Target it is $4.85 and at any market it is about $8 it takes all stains out it is so good...

Mouth wash will work Listerine. I didn't believe it would but it worked great.
