i need to send my husband money via western union. but the information there at the base in iraq tha they gave him, is not in the computers. can n e one help me?

Sorry, but you can't western union money to soldiers in Iraq. They would have to have a western union machine there..which may be feasible in the Green Zone, but that would be about it. Can't he just take a casual pay? My DH takes one about once a month to buy his little "guy things". I also mail him cash every once in a while. Always send it in a package with some cheap stuff, never in an evelope. Stuff has been getting over there pretty fast lately.

Don't send money through mail or Fed Express, Western Union or any other mailing forum.If your husband has a cash card through your bank send it that way if not get him one its safer and cheeper.

If your DH is needing money NOW, the best thing for him to do is go to Finance and request a CASUAL Pay...It is where he will get an advance on his next paycheck. If not mistaken, he will get the money right then... My DH as well as many others Downrange have done this. It is THE safest way to get money now....
