So all 1 billion muslims that live on earth are terroriststs (one sixth of the world population is terrorist?), not to mention the millions of muslims that lived in the past before us? What? there are only a few hundred terrorists who call themselves muslims? what? Muslims aren't condemning terrorism? even though all these websites confirm it?

Maybe anti Islamic people should re-examine the true islam

Not all are terrorists. There are fundamentalists in every religion.
It has to do with stereotyping. Just because one person in a group does something, doesn't mean that all do.

I think that you will find that more than a few hundred are terrorists. Iran will nuke the USA if they get the chance, that is a whole country. One person mentioned that if only 4% were terrorists that is 50 million terrorists.
It is just too many to ignore, but I think most people realise that not every muslim is a terrorist. I could switch to the news and post but I won't. We all know they are calling for the bombing of the US and want Iran to hurry and make a bomb.. Iran at least doesn't hide their intentions.
4% still leaves 96% that are not terrorists. It would seem that Islamic countries should start hunting al queida and Osama. A nuclear war will affect the whole world and especially dirty bombs. I don't know the answer, but I find it hard to believe that 96% of Islam could not police itself.
The cartoon riots and the riots and killings over the Pope's statement just show that there is a lot of instability in Islam..

As for finding out about the "true Islam", I think Muslims are the ones with a duty to find out about the "true Islam". After that, they can maybe do a much better job of marketing it to the non-Muslim world.

I believe there are Islam, Christianity and Judaism AND there is terrorism.

and I also suggest that you read at least Surat Annissa (the women) the forth Surah in Koran. and get to know the real Islam even in war time. or AT LEAST watch "heavens" the show by Barbra Walters, she interviewed a terrorist who claims to be Muslim when only Allah knows if he is, and interview an Imam in a mosque. I really liked it when she said that she might be the one going to heaven while that terrorist guy might go to hell.

i think you are basing your estimates on a handful of websites. think of all the websites that do NOT confirm it! there is a difference between muslims and muslim extremists. and i think if you want the truth, there are many more "terrorists" in the world than just the middle east (like the genocide happening in africa right now). that, my friend, is REAL terrorism.

Noone thinks every Muslim is a terrorist...

Many Muslims are good moral people....certainly more moral than most atheists posting on this thread.
However, the fundamental pproblem lies in Islamic religion.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...

They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...

Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .
