One time offender of what? He would still be an "Undocumented Alien," which is an alien who has entered the United States illegally and is deportable if apprehended, or an alien who entered the United States legally but who has fallen "out of status" and is deportable. It does not matter whether he is making a hundred grand a year and pay taxes, if he did not make a conscientious effort to be legal in twenty years. Hope he has been conscientious enough to pay child support.

Take it is not married to US citizen, and children were born in this country USA, but not married to US mothers But subject is illegal and a one time offender. Well you need a lawyer 1 to stay in country and 2 to become legal, to get through the laws and find what can be done.

If he is an illegal - he doesn't belong here in the first place. And regardless of how hard of a worker he might be it doesn't excuse the fact that they came here ILLEGALLY.
An illegal resident who migrated here should be deported. He had his chance for a better life and he screwed it up. We don't have enough money or time to give second chances to people who aren't TRUE citizens. If you weren't born here you don't belong here.

Are they in the United States LEGALLY, or not? The issue of immigration is largely about this distinction. Many lawyers have made entire careers out of playing with this one, time to put some/most/maybe all of them out of business and put a lot of sunshine on the subject of immigration. LEGAL immigration ONLY, please...

Yep and with the fake SS card, claims 15,000 a year as to collect full benefit package from the tax payers making less than him. Hey don't forget his wife's job, plus no income reported, and those tax write offs birthed on tax dollars getting that free lunch program. No wonder mom drops them off in a late model SUV with the big stereo and 5000 worth of wheels.

You didn't state if he was an illegal immigrant,
If he or she is just an immigrant, Then there is nothing wrong with them earning 40,000 - 60,000 dollars a year.

If the immigrant is legal by all means he should stay. If he is illegal he should be so out of here. It is not hard to understand the difference.

If the law says he should be, I agree. Laws are put in place to protect the mass from the few.
