quick and good are almost mutually exclusive but my boys always like my peanut butter oatmeal. Set the water in a smaller amount say 3/4 th the direction amount as waiting to boil add lotsa butter, peanut butter and sweeten with brown suga, or mollasses of reg sugar by the time it boils they will all be disolved throw in the old fashioned oats and let it come back to a boil and trn off the heat. Get your juice toast or wtevr, and then put in a bowl take a taste b4 u sit t be sure it is the right sweet. If you make a large amount you can eat off it cold for days and it keeps getting better hot or not takes some time the first but overall not so much. Just add ingrediance to you own taste I like molasses instead of graulated sugr.
I once fed several kidz for a long time and this was always a favorite never found anything but empty bowls, better than a snickers

Oatmeal. Even the instant zap in the radar range is good.

Grapefruit or grapfruit slices. Unsugared if you can.

Cream of Wheat or Farina. 1 minute kind is ok. Some brown sugar or honey.

Oatbran bread toasted with peanut butter. Natural peanut butter if you can get it. Very good for you, filling and tastey.

Once a week or so an egg breakfast is good. If you don't want to cook get some of those Jimmy Dean muffin sandwiches with ham and egg and zap it.

Just like an Egg McMuffin. Once or twice a week won't hurt.

Fresh mellon, cataloupe, watermellon, casaba, mush mellon. Eat as much as you want.

English Muffins can be used with many things:
toasted, spread jelly
toasted with butter
nuke an egg and put it on muffin with slice of cheese for sandwich

Instant grits or instant oatmeal (there are many types from fruity to cinamon and brown sugar)

In under 5 minutes you can make an omelette:
wisk together 2 eggs, pour in a buttered or pam-sprayed pan, let cook until getting bubbly @1minute, sprinkle with shredded cheese and ham or whatever, fold over in half. Let cook another 2-3 minutes until egg is set.

Breakfast burritos - you can make these in advance and freeze them. They take 1-2 minutes in the micorwave to cook from frozen

In a large mixing bowl mix scrambled eggs (I usually use a dozen but the recipe is flexible), cooked crumbled bacon, 1 lb cooked sausage, 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Spoon 2 tablespoonfuls of the mixture into the center of a flour tortilla (large size) and roll. Wrap each burrito in Cling wrap and freeze. To heat, place on a plate and cook 1-2 min in the microwave.

Breakfast Pizza:

1 (8-ounce) package shredded Italian cheese blend, divided
1 (16-ounce) Italian bread shell
8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
4 plum tomatoes, sliced
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Sprinkle half of cheese over bread shell; top with bacon, tomato, and pepper.

Whisk together eggs, milk, and basil; pour in center of pizza (it will spread to edges). Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake at 425° for 20 minutes or until egg mixture is set.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Breakfast doesn't have to be "breakfast" food. You can eat anything that appeals to you. Cereal and Poptarts aren't the most healthy choices anyway.

Think outside the box but be sure to include protein...

Leftover pizza (or even pizza made ahead to nuke for breakfast)
Any dinner leftovers
String cheese and fruit
Nutrition/protein bars
Smoothies with added protein powder
Hardboiled eggs (plain, deviled eggs, egg salad, etc.)
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich

The list could be endless. Just think about what you like.

aww poor thing, you sound like me when i was a teen. my mother didnt cook breakfast either. she worked outside of the home. anyway i cook big breakfast for my kids. not fattening but big. their grades are better, they arent starving by lunch time and it gives them a chance to sit together before the day starts. get yourself a little skillet. and a spatula. make taquitos the night before and reheat em in the morning. egg and potato, egg and sausage, or egg and bacon, whatever you like. you can do the same with bisquits. scramble the eggs and put em in a micro safe bowl. and prepare the bisquits the night before. then in the morning you can take a bisquit fill it with egg and reheat for about 45 seconds. they sell them pre made, but they're a bit pricey. also try eating yogurt cups, english muffins, bagels or even a pb and j sandwich.

Chicken, potato and vegetable stew. It's a nutritious balanced diet because there's protein, vitamins and carbohydrates.

Cook the stew the night before and store it in the fridge. It takes just 5 minutes to reheat before eating.

I cook my daughter scrambled eggs with toast in the morning and it takes about 6 minutes total. I also add cheese on the top sometimes.
