It was always pink. The wrapper was white. Didn't it have a riddle or one liner joke or a fortune or something printed on the paper wrapper? Wasn't it just a penny?

Yes I remember the gum. Man I just had a total flashback. The cost of it depended on where you lived. I know in Baltimore, MD it was a penny. Then when I got back home to Jersey where I lived as a child it was like 5 cents. Thanks for the points and the fun flashback.

Of course I remember that. Back when I was young, that was probably the most popular gum around for kids. It came with a tiny comic strip wrapped around it. Do you remember the candy called "Chuckles"? I liked those too, but haven't seen them in a while. Or "Slow Pokes". There were so many that are gone now. Ever hear of "Dots", the kind that came on a long strip of paper? Those were fun.

I remember Double Bubble, many, many, many years ago. My jaws always got sore from chewing it. It was tough stuff...but good. How about "Green Leaves" "Marshmallow Strawberries" I didn't like the marshmallow bananas. Anyone remember Sen Sens??? I loved those. Tiny and a liqourice flavour..I think. Or Loudens chewy (like rubber) cough drops. Wow..the memories. I just went back about 40 years.

Yes I grew up with them. They even had a cartoon on the wrapper inside.

Sounds like fun. They still make Double bubble you can buy them in singles at the convenience store or in bags at the grocery or drug store, but they seem too small to tear in half.

yes it is still around where I live it tasted good but got hard fast gave your jaws a work out lol
yes I do believe that they had jokes on them usually not worth reading
