Anything we know of St. Peter can only be inferred from the records we have of him as an adult.

We actually know very little:
Born Simon, son of Jonah (Simon bar-Jonah), a fisherman of Galilee. He had a younger brother, Andrew. When he grew up, Simon became a fisherman like his father, going into business with his brother and their friends, James and John Boargenes (sons of their neighbor Zebedee). Their business was apparantly good enough to allow them to employ servants (these are mentioned).

Simon could swim, perhaps learning as a child growing up on a lake. He married when he grew up (his mother in law is mentioned), and it is believed he and his wife had one daughter.

Hebrew tradition at the dawn of the first century AD required all males to memorize the first 5 books of the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua). He would have had his bar mitzvah at about 12. It was also Hebrew custom for parents to arrange marriages for their sons.

That is about it. Hope it helps.

theres nothing written about his childhood as far as I know. I mean, there are things you can infer possibly, I mean from his profession, maybe you can infer his socioeconomic class maybe. He was jewish, so if you do some research about jewish traditions at the time you could get some more ideas.

He's a fictional character. The story starts with him already an adult.
