You might have a Type A Personality (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_A). There are ways to "manage" your anger.... first, don't let the little things add up.... easier said than done, I know!! You might have a tendency to suppress your feelings and reactions becuase you don't want to "upset" those around you. Try a journal to write down what you are feeling... sometimes this helps diffuse the feelings. You can also try a calming martial art like T'ai Chi. Exercise helps you to diffuse some of that energy that comes from anger. The next time something gets to you, try stepping away from the situation... tell the person you are talking to that you are going to excuse yourself for a minute or two. Take a walk around your office building, get away from the situation and breathe! Promise yourself that you WILL react to the situation, but only when you have your anger under control. Your controlled reaction will allow you to step away from the situation and think before you speak! Good luck! I know how hard this is... I too let the little things build up. But the "breathing" exercises I learned in T'ai Chi and the walks help. I've worn a hole in the sidewalk around my office building (grin).

get into an anger management support group held regularly and start resolving your issues. Each time you walk away from an unresolved issue you put it on the top of the pile and make the pile taller and higher and more unstable until someone triggers it and pulls out an issue further towards the bottom of the pile without supporting the pile and the issues fly everywhere, uncontrollably. That's what your anger does - it builds and is triggered and explodes impulsively (do first, think later).
Easy there Tiger. Put those claws back. Prrr.

You need to answer why it is that you're so angry to begin with. Is it simply blaming someone else for things in your life you can't control? Is there justified anger over something like abuse? Once you learn what it is that causing the anger you can do what's needed to deal with it. But be careful - it's going to require complete honesty and a willingness to take resonsibility for your own choices.

Only YOU can help yourself. It's a mental thing. NO ONE can make you angry or sad, unless YOU allowed them to. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but YOURSELF can free your mind. Let it go, forgive and forget. Why let all these nonsensical things destroy our moods and life? The next time it happens, take some slow deep breaths ... and walk away ... feeling better :-) Cheers!

Pray. Ask God to help you with your temper problem and to help you learn more patience. If you ask and believe you will receive.
