Listen, the only way to find out if someone likes you is to go and do the work yourself. Don't feel like an idiot just because he didn't give an immediate answer. Just the next time you see him, go up to him, be nice, and just say "Hey, what's up?..Oh cool...well anyways, I wanted to let you know this..I like you, and I want to know if we can be friends." Guys may reject to an asking out proposal, but to a friendship they'll never deny. So after you two stay close in conversation, and become friends, that's when you'll really be sure if he likes you or not. Just try making friends with him; even if he doesn't become your date or boyfriend, at least you'll still have a friend.

If he doesn't say yes then he is stupid. But you did the right thing you won't look like a total idiot at all. You did what you felt what was right. You was going for what you wanted that is how you build your confidence in yourself.

When a guy likes a gurl he continues to make contact with her he does not run away. He tries to be with her. If he is running from you it is because his feelings for you are not the same as yours

hmmm i guess he could like you or mabey he thinks your weird lol. i think in the future its better to ask someone out in person because otherwise you look kinda.... shy or unconfident or something... but mabey he is that way too and thats why hes avoiding you. you should just go up to him and say hey did you get the note i wrote to you? or if hes in any of your classes tell ask him what your assignment was for that day because you didnt write it down or something... and see how he acts to that.

asking a guy out takes a lot of guts...they are confusing and it his answer might be confusing he masy say yes becuase they told him to or because he likes you too or he can say no because of the same reasons why he would say yes (except he wont like you) but there is nothing logical someone can tell you all i can say is --GOOD LUCK!!

He shouldnt avoid you .. i would just go straight up to the girl... if he keeps avoiding you.. he doesnt feel comfartable around you.. or he will say yes.

as u said, u took ur chance! then whatever he is gonna say doesnt matter! the important thing is u did it! so don't think about what he' gonna say...if he really likes u and deserves u then he's gonna date u;)

Well your chances of his saying yes are pretty good. And even if he doesn't say yes you have lost nothing.
