I don't think it's a gift from God.The world would be a better place if more people felt that way,but even believers do not generally live like that.I would give more if I had it,but now I have to console myself with the fact that I can do things to help on a scale that may not be so grand, but will make a more personal difference. This year it will be more for people that do not have family-probably old people in the nursing homes. But poor isn't a term that can only be applied to people with little or no money.

A financial gift is your decision to give to the poor or not. If you feel like you want to, then do so, if you feel like you want to buy yourself something do that, if you want to split it and give some away and some for your self do that. It doesn't matter, this reality is just an illusion...like a dream...even jesus couldn't save the world

Are you rich?
Do you value your wealth more than any other human's worth?
Is there a danger in the valuing of your wealth that you will forget the basic worth of humans or the respect due to God (or your Gods, or Goddess, or your goddesses, or your Deities)?
Calm yourself, still your mind, and ask the Deity you revere what the best thing to do with the money would be.

No Tofu, as giving money from the poor would prevent them getting to heaven, or at least give them as much chance to get there as threading a camel through the eye of a needle. So if you want to get tto heaven, you have to give the money to the rich, or just burn it, I'm afraid. Hope this helps.

Well, since non-believers make just as much profit, I can't see that it has anything to do with God, unless God gives people wealth even when they think he is a myth. That is possible, of course.

For the Christian who has money, the challenge is to stay a life of sacrifice and under no circumstances livin tremendous heling your church and the unfavourable. For the Christian that doesnt have money, he's to be content cloth with what he has. For each and every body else, who cares because theyre no longer likely to Heaven besides........ stay IT UP!
