Yes, they are called musicians and self help gurus. I'm being serious. They have huge followers and help people a great deal

There are always a few... but they ususally don't claim to be prophets. They are humble men who hate sin. One possible modern day prophet is Rev. David Wilkerson, of New York City, Times Square church. He is a godly man, who has had visions of the future. He preaches a hard message of deliverance and repentance. The proof of a prophet is that his prophcies are 100% true and fulfilled. If their life is not holy... they're not a prophet. Too many people are listening to 'prophets' today and are not listening to God... or measureing it against the Word of God. They are lazy Christians who do not know the voice of God for themselves. God loves every believer enough to speak the truth to them before he tells it to a prophet, especially in personal issues. We need to be a people of prayer.

You mean like Daniel, Isaiah, etc.? No, I don't believe so. Why? In the book of Hebrews there is a verse that reads, "in (earlier days) God spoke through the prophets, but now, in the last days, by His son...". I believe this indicates that the last prophet of God (and of course, the son of God through whom we may be saved) was Jesus Christ.

The bible says something along the lines of, "Beware of False Prophets." How can there be false prophets, if there are no true prophets???

Yes, but they are not on the nightly news, so you probably haven't heard of them. One prophetess is Juanita Bynum .Kim Clemment is one also.
