I don't know what religion you are, but in the Christian faith God never became human and died. Jesus, his son, was human, and he was crucified.

If you're talking about the Mithra religion, it says that the Sun God became human and was crucified.

I'm not sure which you're referring to.

No offense, but that sounds really stupid to me. What kind of "almighty God" has to send his kid to be beaten and crucified to reverse something that a human did (Adam and Eve's sin)? If a god is truly all-powerful, then choices that inferior humans make should not affect him, considering he is supposed to be "omnipotent." The bible is such a laughable book.

God did not become human. He sent his only-begotten son to earth to die for us. See John 3:16.

God was manifested in the flesh through Jesus Christ. He lived 33 1/2 sinless years to go to the cross and die for all the world's sin and that includes my sin. He loved me enough that He would suffer and die on the cross and made a way for me to go to heaven to be with Him for all eternity.
