First, if this is a chronic problem you need to see a doctor who will identify the root of the problem. At thirteen you sound wise and though embarassing, better to tell you parent/s before you end up with an intestinal blockage and in the hospital.

Do not use enemas. They are a short term fix, not for a long-term problem. What you need to do besides increasing natural fiber in your diet, is drink MORE water, plain water. Not soda, coffee, juice, but PLAIN WATER. Try drinking 32 ounces of plain water every day and see if that helps.

IF it does not help, then go see a doctor for help. Don't be embarassed about the problem because there are millions of people of all ages who have the same problem!

What do you consider constipated may be normal.
I have one child that is a twice a dayer at the same times every day. My other child is every other day. One thing i have noticed is that when intake of soda happens (on vacation or after a family gathering) they tend to get off track, but once we are home and they drink more water they are back to normal. Another thing is to try prune or prune juice. I know there is a syrup that tastes like molasses at the health food store that I use to get my children back on track.

It must be taken 2 teaspoonful at nighttime earlier going to mattress. except that u favor to have various fluids and leafy veges. keep away from soya ilk, this will develop constpation. yet when soyamilk is all in favour of various diet C then it received't create constipation. do no longer difficulty, do no longer sense embarassed, there are such fairly some pregnant women individuals having a similar concern, in simple terms count number of fw extra weeks...:-)

If you have tried all the natural ways to get 'going' and all the over the counter remedies, then the only other option is to go see a doctor.

I dont think having a daily enema would be good for anyone.

Actually, the enemas may be causing the problem. Since you are only 13 yrs old, you need to tell your mom so that she can help. BTW, have you read "Peyton Place" ? If your mom is the problem, tell the girl's dean at school or another trusted adult. But, whoever you tell, you need to find another way to "go."

try drinking a lot more water, and drink some prune juice every morning. If it doesn't get any better after that, you need to go see a doctor about it.

Try some apple juice. If you are constipated on a regular basis you may want to try herbal supplements.
