If your 1year old was running a fever, with no other symptoms, and wasn't fussy, cranky, (just normal), would you still give him/her tylenol?

it depends how high the fever was, ive been told that if it is 102 and below and they dont seem miserable to let them have a fever to fight off the infection. but higher than 102 i would give them some tylenol, just to be safe.

Tylenol is not all that good nor good at fever. A little bit of asprin. Liquid flavored asprin. Asprin aluminum. St. Joesphes

How high a fever, anything over 101 you should consult a pediatrician.

Yes. Although, I would give him/her motrin. It brings the fever down faster and lasts longer. The child may be in some sort of pain or discomfort that they don't have the ability to express. Just a few doses of it won't hurt anything.

Yes, but I wouldn't let the fever go for more than a day w/o taking him/her to the doctor.

If it were greater than a low-grade fever, yes. (100.0 and above) probably teething. Still call the pediatrician. FIRST1

it would depend on a few things like the temp in the room and how much clothes the child had on. if the child is dressed lightly and the room is 73 degrees then i would give him motrin
