Since I'm about to start going out with Big Bird, I really need to evaluate my options. The patch won't stick to my felt skin, so I'm assuming it will be either the pill or condoms. How does the modern church view birth control? I think it used to be a no-no.

Oh, and no, we're not married. It's just casual sex.

For ten points? Why not. Condoms=Eternity in hell. The pill=Eternity in Hell. Sex is for reproductive purposes only. And by church, I assumed you meant The Roman Catholic Church.

The modern church does not approve of birth control of any kind before you are married. It still is a NO NO.

The Bible tells us not to defile the bed. Fornication is a wrong, sex without marriage is sinful in the eyes of GOD. We all have done something ignorantly, but when you ve learned the truth. That's when we change.

Less babies = less believers = less donations

So that's why they oppose it. It's all about $$$ and power.
