Be honest now. We all complain when we get stopped, but thinking about it......did you honestly deserve the last citation you got?

I deserved every ticket I've received thus far, I had an operation to get the lead out of my foot, it seems to be working.

Honestly, no. It was just for a red light though, so no biggie really. Both myself and my passenger still swear to this day that the light just turned orange when I drove through, but that's a moot point. I had no idea why I was being pulled over and no, I didn't give the officer any attitude. I'm in the military and I was in uniform, so any BS on my part would have been a very bad idea. The officer on the other hand didn't need to be an a**hole and play the 20 questions game. At the time (I was 18) my parent's name was on the registration and insurance and mine was not, so he had to ask about that. My last name (as well as the address on my operator's permit) is the same as theirs, so I thought he was getting a little out of line. I realize they had problems with some of the local national guard soldiers during their two week AT, but that's no excuse to be a dick to anyone in uniform. For the record I was NOT trying to use my status as a federal soldier to get out of anything.

80 in a 55. $177 excessive speed ticket. Absolutely I deserved it! 67 in a 55 6 years prior deserved that one too.

There ARE DUI quotas. My father was an State officer and had to have x number of DUI arrests every month.

I defintely deserved mine, and I have deserved several more (likely I didn't get all of them). I know when I deserve the ticket and I don't even bother with making up a story, crying, or any other way to try to get out of a ticket.

no the timing was off on the red light camera so i was legally in the intersection when it took my pic. I would have gone to court but i was deploying in a few days. The last two i deserved i was speeding, the last two times i have been pulled over i deserved a ticket but i was let go.

It was a toss up. I fought an $80.00 ticket and after a year got it reduced to $15.00. It was not the money, but the principle of the stop and the officer's attitude. That was more than 10 years ago.

I started driving at 18, I am now over 50 and have never gotten a ticket. Amazing how obeying the law has worked for me.

Yes, I deserved the one ticket I got. Knock on wood I don't get another.

Got drunk, slid off the road, side-swiped a telephone pole, bounced off a tree, came to rest up against a 2006 Chevy 4x4. Yes, I would say I deserved it. I'm thankful that I didn't hurt anyone, or myself.
