ok long answer. back in the day,,,they didn't even put the new cars on the lot until sept 1st. That was the way they did it. If you wanted a new car in 1977 you couldn't even see it until sep 1. Now they advertise the new cars in like feb or march. Bottom line there is...they have 2006 cars sitting there that they have to get rid of before they can get the '07 on the lot. they want the '06 off the lot...therefore...they do the invintory reduction sale. You don't get a deal they just make you think you are. wait until jan or feb of next year...find the new (old) '06 sitting there and offer them about 1/3 less than they want...they'll take it.

No buy in december at the end of the month. We want to close out the year and month on a higher note. You will get the best deal then.
