The only reason why I don't like spending time with my bf, his son and his family is because my bf always gives me this bad vibe like he doesn't want me there. I used to always go with him to go pick up his son and go to his mom's house but I stopped all that. Ever since then he hasn't bother to invite me or anything. What made me back away was one weekend when we returned home and he was bragging of how much money he spent. He said that he didn't mind because it was his family but with me it was a different story. That part may not make sense to you but basically I stopped hanging out with his family only because ever since that speech he gave me I feel like he doesn't want me there and I feel as if I am in the way. I don't want to seem like a B***H by not spending time with them. I love his son and his family it is just my bf that I have a problem with, especially after what he told me. Can anyone give me advice??? PLEASE!!!!

Do you feel a little insecure after his speech? Maybe that is why you are holding back. Do you really want to be with this guy or do you know it really isn't working out and you are trying to not get attached? I have been there. It gets messy when kids are involved. You need to find the real reason which I have a feeling you already know. If you aren't ready to be apart of "his" family then don't be, follow your gut and your heart..good luck!

I think that if you can't be aroudn your family the relationship probably won't last, but if you're really serious about this guy you can't spend your life avoiding the people who are closest to him. I'd say you should just ask him if you guys could all spend a day out together or something, like go to the beach together someday or something like that where you could all be together and maybe he'd realize that he could invite you with them sometime because you showed you really want to get to know his family and he'll feel more comfortable with everyone together and there'd be less tension when you saw them again

Sounds like the beggining of the end. Keep an eye other things that come about. Your man may slowly be trying to back away from you. Hopefully it wont get worse. I know that when a man loves his woman he wants his family to love her also. If a man doesnt want his woman around his immediat fam. Thats a big red flag. Watch how things develope in the future. no its not wrong if you are getting a bad vibe from him then there is proudly a reason! and another thing if your bf makes you feel like your in the way then he doesn't seem to care about your feelings very much and if that's the case then you should think if you really should be in that relationship!!!because your feelings should matter to him as much as hes family's!!!!

The biggest red flag EVER in relationships is when a man doesn't want you to get close to his family. I know this is probably something you don't want to hear but if he doesn't want you close to his son or his family - odds are this isn't serious to him.
I say break it off, and guard your heart.
