You must be talking about courtesy flushing.It is painless and good manners, so live with it.

People that don't wait to see if the flush was successful are the ones that think ' their sh*it don't stink'.....
It isn't too hard to wait those few seconds to see if it is all gone and then re-do if its needed.
I work in a Corporate company and every morning some woman leaves a surprise for the next user. yuck.
I just want to ask those girls that flush using their feet how they flush if the flush button is on top of the cistern or in the wall cavity or are those options just in Australia?

These people have a serious lack of hygiene.I wonder if they flush at home??? I wonder if they really realize how disgusting it is for someone to find your bodily fluids and such b/c they didn't flush.I refuse to use the toilet if it is not flushed.And I ALWAYS never actually sit on the toilet and I ALWAYS NEVER TOUCH THE handles of the sink,I use a paper towel or if one is not available,I use toilet paper to turn the sink on and off.If there is a towel dispenser I use the toilet paper to release the paper towels before I wash my hands.If there is a dryer I again will use toilet paper to turn it on.PUBLIC BATHROOMS are a nasty breeding ground for all types of health problems.

I use my foot to flush too and stand back real quick those spritzes of water you feel if you're still sitting there when you flush also happen when you're not and when nothing is there to block them they fling all sorts of nasties into the immediate area. Even at home one should put the lid down prior to flushing.

Oh you don't need to do this if you don't want others to do it for you who just used the toilet before you.
Never do those things which you never want others to do with you.

Because it stinks if you don't, and why attract bacteria and insects...just use your foot to flush it.
