Those who say that there are differences between Mexicans and Spanish , but they are less differences than the differences between Sehardic Jews or Jews who speak Yeddish.
Try to divide the Mexicans if you hate Great Nations. But U won't divide Nations like Mexico, because in Mexico some Jews are also mexicans and Zionists. Comprendes?

There is a difference between Mexicans and the Spanish. Look it up. They are not the same. Also we won the west fair and square in the Mexican-American war.

As a US native American indian, I am going to straighten you out on a few facts.
First of all, this land, which is now the USA, was the land of the US native American indians, NONE of which were ever "mexican", or mexicano, or mexica, or hispanic, or latino, or spanish, or meztiso, or aztec, or mayan, or toltec, or chicano, or cholo, or vato, or homie.
It was the EUROPEANS from SPAIN which stole our tribal lands here in the US southwest, enslaving, torturing and murdering our ancestors.
It was NOT mexicans which established any of the places you named, it was the EUROPEANS from SPAIN who did so, the conquerors of mexicanos, the conquestadores who killed all the aztecs.

Think about this, how do you think we US native American indians in the US southwest feel when we hear people speaking spanish? The spanish were our enemy, they stole our land and killed our ancestors.

I don't care who wants to immigrate to the USA now, just do it LEGALLY or get the hell out.

I have studied the history of this since we moved to Texas in 1998. If General Santa Ana had not slaughtered prisoners, such as at Goliad, and thus totally p****d off the Americans in the North, those areas might still be part of Mexico.

I support the illegals. I know some here and in Mexico in their home villages.

But, we did take those areas. When you lose a war, you lose your land. In this case, because of Santa Ana's cruelty, they lost, and it was well deserved. It was theirs first, but when you are conquered, it isn't yours any more.

True, although there is a difference between the Spanish And Mexicans, the west was settled by Mexicans, and then stolen from them by the Americans. You say, they were legally won with the war, actually, Santa Anna signed the agreement to give up the Mexican land, and he had no authority to do that at all, except that he was a coward, but the land was not won legally.

They did not create Hollywood or Silicon Valley nor any other of the economical infrastructures, A small number might have lived there in the same abject poverty they now live in in Mexico.

We are happy with our legal immigrants and those Americans who trace their roots to pre-US Mexican families. What does that have to do with illegal immigration?

Even the majority of Hispanic Americans are against illegal immigration.

No on all counts... You picked a bad example to try and make your point... If Americans hadn't bought Cal. from Mexico it would be just like Mexico is now... IT WOULD SUCK!... And if we don't seal our boarders soon that may happen anyway.

You know it, I know it... However, remember than in America too many kids drop out of school. Too many do not get the chance to visit other countries, educate themselves, and rise from illiteracy.

I can just visualize it: Watching the Super Bowl, hating immigrants while dipping *corn chips on salsa*, loving that rice seasoned with *saffron*, warming up to a spicy *gumbo*, eating those *pitas* with *hummus*, enjoying an afternoon relaxing in a *hammock*, eating their *pasta* with fresh *pesto*, having their salads with crumbled *feta cheese*, and screaming that immigrants are useless and unnecessary while proudly wearing American *cotton* clothing, and eating season *produce*, picked for them by immigrants.

How much ignorants they take for granted!
