You can try several options to find your dad...an easy one is www.zabbasearch.com it will give you address and phone number listings for any Walter Crawfords (it helps if you know what state he is in or if you have his birthday). Or you can contact the military and see if they can help you find him...they probably won't give you any information but they can forward your information to him if he was in the military long enough to draw a pension or other benefits....good luck finding your dad!!
