I think televangelists are worse, personally. Face it, both ask you for money. At least PBS gives you some entertaining shows in exchange. Televangelists just squander their wealth on hookers and cheap booze. Take that money from the Televangelists and help keep Sesame Street on the air!

PBS, obviously. Really anything is better than televangelists by default, but PBS has some shows I actually like.
I've been known to watch that one televangelist show with the hideous fat chick with the giant blond wig and the spray-painted gold set, bawling at you to send money so she can go help the children or something...but I really can't take it very long.

pbs is public broadcasting system. that means no advertising revenue - they stay on the air through donations and auctions. i wish all tv was like that,then we wouldnt be deluged with commercials.
televangelists make money from stupid people trying to buy their salvation. it is nothing more than a scam

I must agree, they do ask for money don't they? did you ever wonder why they tell you to plant a seed of faith and give them money. they should have planted their own and wouldn't need to ask. just name it and claim it brother.
