I am not religious, but I don't think much of any religion, but at least I respect people and don't try to steal from them and abuse them. I'm talking about the real world here, not virtual yahoo answers land.

Well professing to be a Christian and actually being one is like kind of being pregnant, either you are or you aren't. Those that profess it and then dont abide it are hypocrites. Stay honest, treat people with respect, and dont steal or abuse them, the others will answer for it later. The world could use more honest, respectable people in it. Remember, Lead by example!

You're going to get bad people, no matter the religion. I'm sorry that you've met bad Christians. Not all of us can be good people, though I'm sure we all wish we were. Good people that is.
I've personally met bad Christians (and a few of them made me want to run and hide they were so scary) and a few bad Pagans. Human nature is what allows some of us to be the worst sort that ever walked the earth. Just remember, for every bad apple, there are others who are good.

many people who profess to be Christians are the biggest scam artist in the world. and even you who says your not very religious fall for it . always love your fellow men & women but let your heart lead the way to the truth. sleep with one eye open evil is always lurking

Because Christianity is the "national religion". Most of those people know nothing of the love God exudes. And most who question them are closer to finding god than they are. And yes i really am becoming christian, it is a life long process. But i follow jesus is a more accurate statement.
AND WATCH OUT FOR THIS "TOFU JESUS" he takes focus off christ and what christ said. He or she could be very kind and loving. But his or her logic is NOT god's, this is not a good thing to follow therefore.

If they do all that to you and say they are Christians, then they are hypocrites. They are not Christians and you need to tell them that.
