Looking for recommendations for a quality DVR service.?

I've tried TiVo and loved most of its features, especially search by keyword, director, actor, etc. Somehow I now have the far inferior Time Warner DVR service and am considering going back to TiVo. Before I do that, do you know of other services that I may like? I have broadband and run a Mac, so a computer based service may be an option, but something makes me nervous about that. Thanks.

TiVo has the best features by far, and there are not any other really reputable third-party DVR services availabe.

Go back to TiVo. They are best at what they do.
