As long as the Stars and Stripes are higher on the pole and the Stars and Stripes are not flown upside down or in other disrespectful manner. It might behoove you to make sure the Stars and Stripes is not a SMALLER flag than the Mexican flag also.
Since Mexicans have been known to thumb their noses (among other obcene gestures) at Americans and Americans are not very tolerant of their recent behaviors you might want to be very, very careful.
Are you a legal citizen of the USA?
Your loyalty better be with the USA.
Are you an illegal invader or an illegal invader supporter?
Are you flying the Mexican flag in PROTEST of the USA?
You could have a BIG problem.
ILLEGAL immigrants better not be out protesting against their host country, who has up until recently allowed you to abuse the assistance offered to you. Illegal immigrants are walking a thin line.
If you fly it respectfully below the Stars and Stripes there should be no problem.
rukiddin - the Irish, German, Mexican or anyone else must fly the Stars and Stripes above their country's flag or at least equal to it. The illegal Irish haven't recently protested the laws of the USA or demanded rights they don't have by flying the Stars and Stripes in a disrespectful manner. The Mexican HAVE. The Mexicans are walking on thin ice. You reap what you sow.

I believe the custom is at least half a flag higher on the local national flag if it uses a separate pole., otherwise top flag on pole. If you're in Mexico, you'd better be at a US embassy flying the US flag highest.

in this united states, the american flag should be above the different. fairly some human beings don't understand it yet through the structure of the State of Texas, that's allowed to fly that's flag on a similar height because the U.S. flag. that's because Texas entered the union as a Republic. It develop right into a united states on that's own earlier it develop right into a state. i visit allow you to understand that very few Texans fly the flags at equivalent heights even with the indisputable fact that because we (Texans) love the best previous united statesA. i do not imagine it could be a criminal offense to wave yet another united states's flag in protest of U.S. regulation even with the indisputable fact that it could be very impolite & in simple terms might want to detract from what you attempt to do.

The U.S. seized 1/2 of Mexico in 1848, so because of that special relationship, I don't care if you just fly the Mexican flag or if you are an illegal.
I mean the U.S. Army went all the way to Mexico City, so Mexico and Santa Ana had no choice.

If you really enjoy displaying the national flag of Mexico, why not do so IN Mexico? That might work out better for all concerned...

I think it is but you'd better be careful. The Irish can fly their flag without even showing the stars and stripes, but Mexicans will have problems at the moment.

Yeah, that's fine. I wouldn't be picky if they were the same height but on different poles, either. It is the foreign flag above the domestic flag that is a provocation under international flag protocol.
