We now know that that GOP knew that one of their own was a pedophile back in 2005, but did NOTHING to investigate it or put an end to it.

So much for the "religious right" or the "moral majority"
these @ssclowns long ago lost any right to declare themselves holier than anyone.

This is what happens with church and state mix

Okay…(cracks knuckles) here goes:

Fireball- If you are getting ready for the judgment day you go right on ahead, get others to prepare with you so they will keep their gerddamn voice out of politics!
Santas Helper- You chicken faulkers are still kicking Clinton! Not as much fun when a homosexual pedophile is on your team?
Ceanna- Huh?
And hayesfamily- Let’s see… Clinton Got a BJ from an over 18 year old consenting woman. Granted, not the best thing he could do and yet you equate this with an adult homosexual pedophile? Let me tell you, you devilish idiot that I contribute to this country a lot. I work, pay taxes, paid off my school loans, help in homeless shelters, helped when it came to action for Katrina victims. I work to make this country and this world a better place. When did being a democrat and a liberal equal being un-American? And by swift action did you mean waiting on it before the story broke? You are speaking out as a political party and a Christian and you hide behind that fact to justify your cause. DA is one of the most intelligent and thought provoking people I know. You my dear red moron, are an idiot.
Please don’t contact me to tell me you hate me, I already know.
Whew,
I feel better…Thanks

These people were elected by Americans. People who actually had a choice and this is the one they choose. We have no control over the catholic church. We do have some control over our government. Unless, you live in Texas where the majority of the people who show up to vote are bible belt republicans. Look at Ann Richards. A remarkable, intelligent, straight talking, free thinking, and sincere democrat loses re-election to a man who promises the voters of the state of Texas, that he has no aspirations for the White House. Guess what, 4 years later, that is exactly where he was. The last time that I voted for a republican in a major race, i.e. governor, senate, house, or president, was Ronald Reagan. I do not go and vote straight party either, I pay attention and try to make an informed vote. Oh ****, I am ranting. What was your question again?

It has been speculated that Ann Richards lost a lot of votes when she vetoed the Concealed Bill. A bill allowing a person to carry a concealed weapon into a public establishment. I hate the NRA with a passion, me being a die hard liberal commie democrat, that goes without saying. We need stricter hand gun laws, not looser ones. Why do we need automatic weapons? Would you want to kill a deer with an oozy? I don't see a crowd of people rioting outside my house, so I don't need to kill 20 people in 30 seconds. It is insane. And the bible belt loves guns! Go figure.

Republicans NEVER declared themselves holier than anyone. This is just another product of people like you! You say in your profile that you spend the day dispelling myths. No way DA! You spread this kind of crap. And before you go around pointing your liberal fingers. Take a look at Slick Willy. Do you even have a job? Just how do you contribute to this country? By telling lies and spreading false statements? Do you work for the Clintonistas? I remember when people were saying that Hillary was a lesbian. Having a mind of my own, I did not believe it. I considered the source. And with this I am once again considering the source. Crawl back into your hole snake, no one with a mind of their own is listening to you anyway.
I would think so. Or do you sit around on the public dole? Stealing from the hard working Americans?
The republicans took swift action against this Republican pedophile. What did you Democrats do about Clinton? I'll tell you what you did. You gave him a pass when he was exposed for the person he really is. And you know that I am right. Ever time I see one of these I will speak out against you and your brothers. I will speak out as an American citizen, not as a member of a political party. And I will speak out against both parties. When they are wrong. I am not speaking against Democrats here, just against you and all you are! SNAKE! Throw them ALL out and start over as far as I am concerned! But people like you should be thrown out too, with Dems and Repubs.

The GOP and the RC church in some ways are like the old boys club.. what happens in there stays there and they will do anything to protect themselves and their interests even at the expense of the victims.

And yet these same ones would throw rocks in their glass house by pointing out Clinton's extra marital business... hypocrisy in action.

You have finally asked/stated something worth agreeing with, but, why don't you take it even further? Why not go after ALL the pedophiles? Limiting yourself to just a small area doesn't give much credence to the subject, does it?

They GOP probably thinks "Hey, if God lets the Catholic priests get away with it, he'll cut us some slack to."

Sick and wrong.

Since most religious crackpots are Republican, I see no reason they wouldn't approach the problem in the same way: with a cover up.
