My friend told me to download ''Tune up Utilities 2006'' from download.com
Im jsut not sure if these things are safe, cuz it found 400 somethin problems, yet im not sure if i should use it. can it mess up the computer, or harm it?tnx

Try ccleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com/
It has a reg cleaner which is safe to use.

They "can" be, but they can also do damage. It's a risk and unless you know something about the registry and can look over what keys are to be changed, then I'd recommend leaving it alone.

Go back to "downloads.com", and get "Registry Mechanic". It's great, works fine, and cleans up my computer with no problems. It's designed to FIND problems, and correct them. Don't worry!

i have tuneup utilities 2004, and i think its one of the better programs out there.. it have never had any problem with it.. it is easy to use and runs through its paces pretty quick..
i give it a thumbs up!!
