Yes it is bad. Not life and death bad but it means you have a infection. It could be stroptococus again or just tonsilious but going to the doctor is a good idea. You may need to get your tonsils taken out.

White spots on the tonsils can indicate many different conditions from strep throat to tonsilloliths (calcified material in the tonsillar crypts) to tonsillar cancer. It would be a good idea to see a dentist or an ear, nose, throat doctor if it does not resolve on its own.

I doubt you are going to keel over from it, but I'd go back to the doctor. Make sure you tell him that you have white spots on your tonsils and make sure that he does a throat culture (the back-of-the-throat swab thing that makes you gag).

It could be viral this time, or it could be strep again. Plese go get it checked out again with your doctor. If it keeps up, you'll need to have your tonsils out eventually.

Sounds like strep throat, go back to doc because it can be hard to kick and can keep coming back. Good Luck.

Recurrent tonsil infections need to be taken care of. You may need a stronger antibiotic, or you may need surgery. I had it done when I was 10. Piece of cake.

You have an infection. You will need to see your doctor to get something to clear it up. It is possible to become reinfected if all the Bacteria were not killed.
